The new Mercedes-Benz G 550 SUV and G 550 4x4 SUV each feature a 4.0-liter V8 Biturbo engine offering 416 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. The new Mercedes-AMG G 63 SUV features a handcrafted AMG 5.5-liter V8 Biturbo engine offering 563 horsepower and 561 pound-feet of torque. The new Mercedes-AMG G 65 SUV features a handcrafted AMG 6.0-liter V12 Biturbo engine offering 621 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque.

Those power ratings should tell you all you need to know about the 2018 G-Class lineup’s ability to go off-road, but those impressive ratings aren’t the only thing the new G-Class lineup has going for it in terms of off-road capabilities.
