When Does the 2019 Brandywine Festival for the Arts Take Place?
Taking place this year from Saturday, September 7 – Sunday, September 8, The Brandywine Festival for the Arts is coming back to Wilmington at the Brandywine Park. The festival will start at 10 am each morning, with tickets being priced at $5. However, children under 12 will be able to get into the festival for free when with a parent or guardian.
Each year, the Brandywine Festival for the Arts brings in approximately 20,000 visitors each year, as more than 200 artists and crafters are showcasing their impressive art pieces. Those attending will be able to relax alongside the Brandywine River, enjoy local food and drinks, listen to live music and much more. There are also plenty of fun activities for children to do each day.
Those needing help getting down to the festival are in luck, thanks to the free bus shuttle service from locations such as Baynard Stadium.
