2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan Engine Options and Power Ratings
Having already covered the engine lineup of the 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe here on our Mercedes-Benz of Wilmington Blog, it’s now time to turn our attention to the engine options and power ratings of the 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan. As you’ll see once you’re done looking everything over, the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan lineup features a wide variety of engines and powertrains to choose from, all of which will take you for the ride of a lifetime.

Not counting the hybrid model, the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan lineup features four trim levels to choose from and three engines to choose from. The 2018 Mercedes-Benz C 300 and C 300 4MATIC Sedans feature a 2.0-liter Inline-4 Turbo engine paired with a 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain offers 241 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. The new C 300 model gets 24 miles per gallon in the city and 33 miles per gallon on the highway, while the new C 300 4MATIC model gets 23 miles per gallon in the city and 32 miles per gallon on the highway. The 2018 Mercedes-AMG C 43 Sedan features an AMG-enhanced 3.0-liter V6 Biturbo engine paired with an AMG-enhanced 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain offers 362 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque while getting 20 miles per gallon in the city and 27 miles per gallon on the highway. The 2018 Mercedes-AMG C 63 and C 63 S Sedans both feature a handcrafted AMG 4.0-liter V8 Biturbo engine paired with an AMG 7-Speed SPEEDSHIFT® MCT. This powertrain gets 18 miles per gallon in the city and 24 miles per gallon on the highway. The new AMG C 63 offers 469 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque while the new C 63 S offers 503 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque.
