However, with the season comes many fun traditions, with movies, cookies, getting a tree, snowball fights and ice skating. Take a look at where you can enjoy the 2018 holiday season with ice skating in Wilmington, DE.
Riverfront Rink Open Skate Times
For the fifth annual year, the Riverfront Development Corporation of Delaware is reopening the Riverfront Rink for outdoor public skating. A fun event for families, kids, couples, and anyone who wants to have fun, the Riverfront Rink is now open to the public. In fact, the public skate at the Riverfront Rink is open from now until February 28, and is open daily. The rink is open from Monday-Thursday from 4-9pm, Friday from 4-10pm, Saturday from 11am-10pm and Sunday from 11am-9pm.
Even though ice skating is extremely popular this time of year, people will be able to enjoy their skating time thanks to the size of the rink. In fact, the Riverfront Rink is able to accommodate up to about 350 skaters at once. However, always be careful of those skating around you.
Admission to the Riverfront Rink this season will cost $8.50 for those over the age of 13 and will cost just $5.50 for children younger than 13 years of age.
