As one of the most athletic, stylish and sporty coupes on the market, we’re incredibly excited about the impending arrival of the 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe here at Mercedes-Benz of Wilmington. We know you are, too, and that’s why we decided to find out all we can about the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe lineup. We’re going to start where we’re guessing everyone wants to start, and that’s under the hood. So, let’s take a closer look at the engine and performance features of the 2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe.

We’re going to focus on five new Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe models here – the 2018 C300 Coupe, the 2018 C300 4MATIC Coupe, the 2018 AMG C43 Coupe and the 2018 AMG C63 and C63 S Coupes. Both the new Mercedes-Benz C300 Coupe and C300 4MATIC Coupe feature a 2.0-liter Inline-4 Turbo engine offering 241 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired with a 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission, which replaces the 7-speed automatic transmission found on the 2017 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe. The new Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe features an AMG-enhanced 3.0-liter V6 Biturbo engine offering 362 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque. This engine is also paired with a 9G-TRONIC 9-speed automatic transmission. Finally, there’s the new Mercedes-AMG C63 and C63 S Coupes, which feature a handcrafted AMG 4.0-liter V8 Biturbo engine paired with an AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed transmission. The 2018 C63 Coupe offers 469 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, while the 2018 C63 S Coupe offers 503 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. Fuel economy ratings have not yet been released for these powertrains.
